World Book Day in the Woods – FREE Stay & Play

We’re celebrating World Book Day the GroWild way… outdoors, cosy, and full of story magic! Join us for a special Stay & Play session in the woods on Friday 6th March, 2–4pm, where families can settle in for a relaxed afternoon of nature play and book-inspired fun.

This event is free of charge, and:

• Siblings and grandparents are very welcome

• You can still attend even if your child doesn’t usually attend nursery on a Friday (or isn’t in session that day)

What to expect

Alongside plenty of free woodland exploring, we’ll be offering:

• Hot drinks to keep grown-ups warm

• Campfire treats (because everything’s better by the fire!)

• Bug crafts and nature-inspired making

• Worm stories and booktime moments in the woods

What to bring

• Weather-appropriate clothes (warm layers + waterproofs are best)

• Wellies or sturdy outdoor shoes

• If you’d like, bring a favourite book to share together
