Our Flora, Fauna & Pollinators Sunday Session is a woodland session where you and your child can explore flowers, insects and the small creatures that help the woodland thrive. Together, we’ll take part in seasonal activities inspired by pollinators, planting, habitats and caring for the natural world around us.

Activities across the session may include:

-Creating simple pollinator wings using flowers, ribbons and natural materials
-Building bug homes and mini-beast shelters
-Wildflower planting and gentle seasonal gardening activities
-Mixing flower petals, herbs and leaves in mud kitchen recipes and sensory play
-Nature weaving and collaborative woodland decorating
-Exploring insects and habitats through magnifying glasses and observation trays

Children will also explore:

-Flowers, bees, butterflies and other pollinators through seasonal play
-Pollination and plant–animal relationships
-Cooperative building projects and shared nature creations
-Climbing, swinging and large-scale outdoor play
-Nature stories, campfire snacks and shared woodland moments together
