Hours & Funding Info

Hours & Attendance

What are the session times?

  • Sessional day care from 9am - 4pm.

  • Half Day 9am - 1pm or 8am - 1pm (Available for 2-3 yr olds only when attending one additional full day)

  • Full day care from 8am - 5.30pm. This includes breakfast and an end of day tea.

(We remain open for 51 weeks of the year with a Christmas break).

Is there a minimum attendance?

To fully benefit from Forest School and all we have to offer in the setting, we ask that parents/carers commit to:

  • 2-3 yr olds: 1.5 ‘sessional’ days per week

  • 3-4 yr olds: Two ‘sessional’ days per week

This will ensure your child can become part of our community of learners and fully engage with their learning. It also means that there is not a long ‘gap’ across the week for your child to access Nursery, enabling them to settle well and form a strong key person bond.

Do you offer funding?

We offer the Working Family Funding for 2 & 3 year olds.

Your child is able to access 570 hours of funded early education per year from the term after their third birthday. We offer a limited number of spaces for the Universal Funding for 3-4 year olds and Funding for eligible 2 year olds. This funds 15 hours of childcare for 38 weeks of the year. We offer this as a ‘stretched’ offer across 50.5 weeks of provision.

Good to Know…

If a sibling joins the eldest child will receive a 10% discount (whilst both are in the nursery).

Deposits:

A deposit of £125.00 will be required to secure a place. A registration fee of £75 covers settling-in sessions, support from staff for the whole family before and during transition and a set of high-quality waterproofs.

How do we join?

You are able to reserve a place for your child in advance of when you want them to start.
