Welcome to our Magical Woodland Nursery!

At GroWild Forest School Nursery, we believe that nature is the best teacher. Our 2.2 acre private woodland site is a place where your little ones can explore, play, and learn in the great outdoors. We're not your typical nursery—we embrace the wild side of childhood and provide a unique experience that will ignite your child's curiosity and imagination…we even have a beautiful indoor classroom space to explore too!

First of all, picture this: a lush, enchanting woodland filled with towering trees, chirping birds, and fragrant wildflowers. It's a paradise for little adventurers! Our woodland site is like stepping into a storybook, where magic awaits around every corner. Once your child steps foot into our forest, they become part of a vibrant community of tiny explorers. They'll make friends with squirrels, have tea parties with fairies (or maybe just pretend to!), and embark on exciting quests to find hidden treasures. Our trained staff members are there to guide and nurture your child's natural curiosity, ensuring they have a safe and memorable experience.

THE POWER OF NATURE’S CLASSROOM

In our woodland nursery, there are no walls or stuffy classrooms. Instead, we have open spaces for little feet to run and roam, allowing your child to connect with nature and develop a deep appreciation for the world around them. They'll learn about the wonders of the natural world firsthand, discovering insects, observing plants, and listening to the sounds of the forest. Together, they build towering dens, engage in exciting scavenger hunts, or simply bask in the tranquility of the surroundings while sharing stories and laughter around a crackling campfire.

From mud kitchens and den building to nature crafts and storytelling sessions, there's never a dull moment in our woodland wonderland. Your child will develop their problem-solving skills, build resilience, and foster a love for learning through hands-on experiences. We believe in providing a well-rounded unique curriculum that includes early literacy, numeracy, expressive arts, and outdoor exploration.

A UNIQUE CURRICULUM

Our unique curriculum approach follows the wonder of the seasons, following the chidren’s interests to adapt to suit their needs. Our creative and skills based approach implements the Early Years Framework, ensuring your child seamlessly transitions into formal schooling, armed with a solid foundation for success.

SAFE & SECURE

Of course, we prioritise safety above all else. Our staff members are highly trained in Forest School practices and first aid, ensuring that your child is always in capable hands. We believe that taking managed risks is a vital part of children's development, so they'll be encouraged to climb, balance, and explore within their own capabilities. We conduct regular risk assessments, have robust procedures in place, and adhere to the highest safety standards to provide you with peace of mind. Our management team are qualified in Level 1 Tree Survey and Management and we work closely with Target trees in Norfolk for site checks and woodland management planning.

CLASSROOM SPACES (IN & OUT!)

We are very lucky to be able to provide a large indoor Forest School classroom and an outdoor bell tent space designed to be hubs of excitement, curiosity, and exploration. Our cosy classrooms are the perfect environment for your little ones to explore, discover, and grow.
