WildTots Wanderers is a new addition to our regular WildTots sessions, with a monthly meet-up somewhere different across Norfolk.

WildTots has always been about giving little ones the freedom to explore, play and connect with nature. Now we’re taking that same idea out to even more of Norfolk’s wild places, from woodland and parkland to farms, wetlands, beaches and meadows.

There’ll be simple nature-based activities and discoveries along the way, but just like WildTots, there’s no pressure to join in or keep up. Come for the fresh air, the exploring, the muddy boots and the chance to meet other local families.

Choose one adventure or come along each month to discover somewhere new:

🐷 Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse | Tuesday 13th October | £6.50 per child

- Explore the historic buildings and heritage farm at one of Norfolk’s best-loved family attractions

- Meet rare breed farm animals and discover more about the animals who live there

- Wander through 50 acres of woodland, orchards, gardens and the community tree nursery

- Follow trails and make time for little discoveries along the way

- Visit the adventure playground before finishing the morning with a treat at the café (drinks/food not included in ticket price)

Expect farmyard friends, woodland wandering and plenty to discover.

🌳 Blickling Estate | Tuesday 3rd November | £3 per child, siblings £1

- Join Blickling staff and volunteers for a guided adventure through the orchard and woodland

- Use Nature Packs with binoculars and digital microscopes to investigate the natural world

- Search for bugs, birds and mammals and look for tracks, feathers, nests and other signs of wildlife

- Discover some of the different habitats animals call home

- Take part in seasonal games and nature activities before finishing with hot drinks and snacks at the café (drinks/food not included in ticket price)

Expect rosy cheeks, muddy wellies and plenty of woodland discoveries.

🍄 Sheringham Park | Tuesday 1st December | £3 per child, siblings £1

- Explore nearly 1,000 acres of parkland and woodland among ancient oaks and towering pines

- Search the forest floor for colourful leaves, fungi and other natural treasures

- Look closely at the different shapes, colours and textures we discover along the way

- Go pond dipping in the Bower Garden to see what might be living beneath the water

- Take part in simple seasonal nature activities with plenty of time to follow little discoveries together

Expect crunchy leaves and lots of wintery woodland discoveries.
