Winter in the Woods
Seasons Come, Seasons Go | Winter Birds | Natural Decorations

Join us in the woods as we welcome winter at GroWild and discover how our trees and woodland wildlife are changing with the season.

We’ll gather around the fire for a winter story and warm spiced apple juice before heading out to explore. Little woodland helpers can work together to move our Douglas fir into place, build a giant woodland Christmas tree and discover the birds that make the woods their home through winter.

Over in the mud kitchen, our Winter Tea Party will be filled with cranberries, oranges, cinnamon, rosemary and other wonderful seasonal scents to scoop, pour, mix and explore.

There’ll be plenty of natural Christmas making too, with woodland decorations and pomanders to create and take home.

Expect winter wildlife, big collaborative play, natural creativity, sensory exploration and a little woodland Christmas magic!
